Kumbal Prajawa Saha Mati Karmanthaya

Historical traces of the community of potters in Sri Lanka with particular reference to the earliest settlements which spread to all parts of the country. It explains the peculiar characteristics of males and females of this community and their recognition in the society. A survey of villages with a concentration of potter population is also included. The information given has been collected from varied sources such as archaeological findings and personal interviews. The book is the outcome of a research study that give light to this community thus far had remained obscure.
