After Paul return home from jail he learns that his uncle is a member of the French Resistance against the Germans. Paul is invited to join and he eagerly accepts fueled by his hatred of the Germans after they killed his father several years earlier. Paul embraces his new role and never hesitates to participate in some of the dangerous activities that they carry out which include working against the Germans constantly and their most dangerous mission smuggling Allied prisoners of war and agents out of the country.
