Pali Vyakaranaya

This is a translation of Pali Grammar by V Perniola written in English. This book was written following research done for 10 (ten) years. Professor Karunatilake translated this work in 1966. The work is primarily based on language in which the main sections of Buddhist text Dhamma and Vinaya are written. Although it is written mainly for students of Pali the work will also be of use for researchers keen on Pali as a language of the Buddha’s teachings. As the book is written mainly for students the text is easy to understand. Perniola has described main elements of Pali in simple English while Professor Karunatilake has done justice by translating it into lucid Sinhalese.
