Saundarananda Mahakawya 1 2 3 Sarrga

This edition comprised of cantos one to three originally written by Mahakavi Aswaghosha in Sanskrit language. This text Saundarananda Maha Kaviyaya is an annotated edition limited to three cantos mentioned above. Even though an explanatory preface of the contents is not to be seen in this edition the Sanskrit verses of all three cantos are followed by a word for word paraphrase and faithful translation in Sinhala. In addition to the Sinhala translation English translation of each verse is given for the benefit of the scholars who wish to learn Sanskrit language in English medium. The canto one comprised with sixty two (62) verses. Canto two comprised with sixty five (65) verses and canto three comprised with forty two (42) verses. All of these verses are followed by word for word Sinhala and English translation.
