Sadanand is son of an ordinary peasant becomes an executive engineer. Now he has to keep several things in mind. He has to look after his father who sacrificed all comforts of life so that he could lead a respectful life. His father wants him to marry a girl whose family members can give him enough dowry in the marriage. Naturally he has to fulfil the wish of his father. Adding to his woes is his department where only the dishonest and corrupt can survive and as he has close links with a politician he has to oblige his yes men by awarding lucrative contracts to them.
